A HealthUnlocked Widget in your Blog

On the left hand side of the page you can see a tab that has been placed by a HealthUnlocked group. Anyone visiting this blog will be able to click onto the widget which will access the application in the group. This might be a poll, a survey or another tool. It's linked directly to the group, and you don't have to leave the blog to participate.

It means that if there is an important poll designed to improve understanding of a particular illness or health problem, partner bloggers who are important magnets for health experiences can join in on the exercise.

It's a great way of involving large numbers of people in health-related surveys.

If you are a blogger and you'd like one of the widgets you have seen in your blog all you have to do is follow the steps below:

1) Contact HealthUnlocked to ask for the widget code (info@healthunlocked.com)
2) Go into the "design" or "layout" pages of your blog (if you haven't done this before you can get guidance at info@healthunlocked.com)
3) Cut and paste the widget code into the relevant box (in Blogger it tells you to "Add a gadget"
4) Save the changes.

You will then have a tab in your blog that will serve up questions relating to the area of health interest that corresponds to that particular group.
